#5 Cyrene – Broken Jaw (MNG)

As an everliving entity Lump was fascinated by these fake elves that wouldn't die. Or at least he would have been if he had any mental capacity for anything beyond basic life support. Certainly the Isha intrigued S.N.O.T. Sports Management. If other beings were able to come back from death regularly then Lump would be less unique, therefore less marketable and...god's forbid....less profitable!!!.
The team gathers up as many extra fans as allowed to make up numbers and took to the field. L.A.D.S. need to make a point.

Kick Off
L.A.D.S. 23-12 Yennla Eternals
The Eternals opted to open the game by kicking, the ball landing almost directly in the centre of the L.A.D.S. half, where Skip was able to scoop it up an cower behind a wall of troll and wagon.
L.A.D.S. quickly got to work bashing the Isha off the pitch. 5 gone early in the half by way of Troll fists, Wagon crashes and Kai's boot. The number advantage paid off and Skip was able to leisurely stroll over for a score shortly before halftime. Not however before Cyrene broke her own jaw headbutting the Orca-Cola Roller. Those Isha had come to play hard!

Half Time
L.A.D.S. 24-12 Yennla Eternals
At halftime, the ruse was exposed. Cyrene with her broken jaw was out for the game. This regeneration thing was a lie, they were faking it. Four of the other five 'miraculously' came back into to the game....but they weren't fooling anyone. This wasn't a calling from their god bringing them back, they'd simply bumped their heads and had a quick snooze.
The second half got underway and perhaps knowing their deceit was exposed, the Isha removals stopped. Their movement and grace causes L.A.D.S. some serious problems. Even a well place sack from a Chuk bomb was quickly recovered from under Ripper's nose.
Lump an' da Snots were still able to pin the Eternals deep into their own half for much of second period. A late break was temporarily halted by a suicidal sack from Lugz. Again the ball was recovered and only a last minute stumble stopped the Isha launching a last minute throw for the equaliser.
It has been far closer than the 12 point margin showed. L.A.D.S. know they got lucky, but more importantly we all know who the real Eternal is!
