Miami came in hard on defense, popping the ball loose early in the first half to take a 1-nil lead, and spent the remainder of the first half negating the Boarbatusks' chances to even the score.

Second half, playing down two players, the BallHawks went on the offensive, taking the two-turn touchdown to improve their lead to 2-nil. A "Blitz!" on the kickoff put Miami back in favorable position surrounding the ball, but the Boarbatusks came back, clawing and fighting, and get control of the ball, taking it in for a touchdown, bringing the score to 2-1, Miami.

With only two turns left BA set up in the hopes of scrambling for a tie, but Miami went on the retreat and stall tactic, preserving the win.
