They say the mark of a great team is winning when they don't play well. L.A.D.S. had always been good at the former, but lately also very much the latter. All wasn't well within the squad. The Orca-Cola Roller was out being repaired and Skip was awaiting a fix to his Skip x Orcidas Ultraboost Ag+ Gold stilts. Which L.A.D.S. would turn up today?
S.N.O.T. Sports Management were not blind to this malaise and sought a solution. They consulted the fan groups, religious leaders across the spectrum, local and inter-regional businesses. All for ideas of how to inspire. They listened to great stories of heroes, of triumph over adversity, of heart wrenching martyrs and glorious victories. In it all came one common theme that united all across race, creed, geography and beliefs. There was one thing that could never fail.....kick the crap out of some Elves!

Kick Off
L.A.D.S. 19-11 Ex Tenebrae Lux
It was as if a rocket was put under the L.A.D.S.. They raced into a 19-11 lead with the fans back behind them (or in this case literally amongst them on the field). There was even a debut for Star Kaboom Murzark. Clearly that sort of scoreline means the game is still entirely in the balance, but the first half was a very tepid affair.
The Elves tossed the ball around deep in the backfield, and Pap got stomping at every opportunity but ultimately nothing, bar a few bumped heads, really happened. The Elves eventually remembered they were supposed to try and score but sadly for them the pass couldn't be completed and the half ended scoreless.

Half Time
L.A.D.S. 19-11 Ex Tenebrae Lux
All was still to play for going into the second half, but this was different. A fire was lit and the L.A.D.S. came alive! Kaboom took out an Elf with a bomb for the first score immediately after half time. Shortly afterwards Pap secured a Stomp point on his way to the Banned box. It was like the old times again.
The Elves by now were heavily outnumbered and could to little to prevent Guf trundling over for a touchdown, having brought the ball almost the entire length of the pitch. That was all she wrote. This was the L.A.D.S. of old, and what a way to come back. Their first ever full S.N.O.T. game!!!
Lump an' da Snots are back!
