A blitz by the Thyme on the opening kick off stunned 3 Rotted Flesh players and turned the Necromatic team's offence on its head. The Flesh had to pull out all the stops to defend the ball, and never really threatened to score. Some misfortune along the way (eg Werewolf has two dice block on ball carrier, rolls Skull/Pow + Skull and badly hurts himself!) made it even harder for the Flesh.

At the end of the first half, it was 0-0. The Flesh then kicked off to the Thyme with only 8 players to defend against the Thyme. The Thyme were too quick for the Flesh and eventually scored their TD just over halfway into the second period.

The Flesh were then able to string together a semi-convincing play to score a TD and secure a draw.

---------------
Was very lucky to escape with a draw in this game after the bad luck in the first half which my opponent exploited very well. He played his Wood Elves like a hitting team! Splatting me all over the field. His AV 7 was practically impenetrable whilst my players kept biting the dust LOL.

A very difficult win, and from staring at likely defeat to scrape a draw is not a total loss.
