While the first half was solid, Manitoba had 3 turns to try to score, but a very deep kick and an unreliable Winnterpeg ensured that they couldn't tie it up. 1-0 at the half.

The second half, Ottawa got heavy dice including a forgotten Disturbing Presence check from The Animal. However, Manitoba still managed to sneak in a touchdown on turn 7, leaving Ottawa just two turns to score.

And score they did, with an unnaturally elven final turn, resulting in Dan Daluca scoring the winning touchdown as the buzzer sounded - although Tony Durst was the real hero for the play. Dan even tried to give the ball back to Tony after the amazing dodging the rookie had done to get the ball to Dan, but, a perfect bounce straight back to Dan forced the Starr prodigy to reconsider, catch it (in a tackle zone!) and dodge and go for it to score.
