“Seesaw game played in good spirits, lovely to meet Uberton who was a great sport.

First half the lizards cruised downfield for a comfortable score, smacking the leader thrower en route. Basically the key moment was going to be if the rats would score a 1-turner for 1-1 at half time. But dice with me bigtime first half and a timely blitz put paid to Uberton's best-laid plans.

Second half a different story early on with the rat blitzer making minecmeat of many skinks. 1-1 halfway through and the lizards only had big chaps remaining. Fortunately they showed slinky ball skills to shield then even pick up the ball... and who knows with another 4 or 5 turns might even have scored :-).

Armour on both sides pretty shoddy, keeping medics busy and both teams will be licking wounds and replacing players going into their next game. Till next time!”
