Kick Off
L.A.D.S. 23-14 Shield of Settra

L.A.D.S. went all in for this one. Ripper and the Fasta Wagon brought in for the party. Seven keen Lumpies drafted in for their chance at glory. Facing them down the majestic Khemri Tomb Kings.

Making his first appearance for L.A.D.S. young Bam had always struggled with the comparison to the legendary Flinga Bom. All that was forgotten as their debut couldn't have been better, 1 bomb, 1 score! The coaches would later point out that it's probably better to hit other players with bombs, but still off the mark!!!

Lugz was able to feint right and dash left circumnavigating the skeleton defensive wall. Behind the lines, it was just a matter of time until he could stroll over for a score. Willing Snotling laying their bodies on the line to keep the ball safe.

A relatively quiet first half, but L.A.D.S. would be please with a slender 11 point lead at the break.

Half Time
L.A.D.S. 25 - 14 Shield of Settra

At the restart the Shield received the ball short and hid behind a short screen of skeleton. The rest of the team just pushed a bunch of Snotlings around, so the Fasta Wagon leapt into action. Ably assisted by a wriggling Snotling, the Fasta Wagon was able to dodge and scoot into sacking the carrier. Sadly for L.A.D.S. attempts to recover the ball failed.

Almost immediately history repeated. The ball in skeletal hands, but quickly down again this time assisted by Lump and a swarm of aggressive Snotlings. The ball was briefly recovered by one of the Lumpies, but it wasn't long before he was pummelled by an Annointed Blitzer.

Thereafter followed an almost comedic chase. The ball carrying Throw-Ra dancing away from tacklezones on 3 or 4 occasions, followed aggressively by a small crowd of Snotlings and a pirouetting Fasta Wagon. Eventually the dynamic skeleton got away to dash over for a score, but not without cost.

*Camera slowly panning across the dugout, music plays*

Oh how those bones were felt. Thirteen L.A.D.S. off the field by the end. Only one of the entirely 23 Snot squad playing every minute. Fortunately for Lump an' da Snots noone was too badly broken. Meanwhile Charkhor the Ambitious got a bit cocky (as his name might suggest) and smashed his knee attempting to copy the skeletal dodges of his teammates.

Another day, another win. Business as usual for the L.A.D.S.
