“Basic 'Wood Elf Training Plan' wall structure as a demonstration, until it broke down AND he made a break for it. With no more wall demonstration possible, I broke my own rule, and stole the ball pre-Turn 6.
If 'The Wall' causes an error on his part, you are free to steal the ball before Turn 6, IF you have a decent chance to get away with it, but NOT if you just drop the carrier and have no chance to pick it up. That just gets you in a fight too early, and he'll pick it up again.
First score was pretty typical elf play, but bad things sure could have happened earlier, with so few re-rolls. Unfortunate 1st pick-up fail on my second drive.
All in all, a good demonstration of 'the wall' defense, and an elf offense, when out numbered and out gunned. Score, then prey for a break on defense.”
