“Long after the final whistle, Cankermaw was still near the centre of the pitch, gorging on whatever detritus its little nurgling attendants could bring to it. As they traipsed out of the stands and dugouts the trails of pus left in their wake made it look like giant snails had been criscrossing the entire stadium.

Much of the game had been spent in a heaving brawl and Cankermaw had futily been trying to swipe up the little humans with their funny hats, but somehow they kept just out of range most of the time but at least they had left a glorious selection of bodily fluids all over the place.

The horrifying features of the Nurgle daemons had seemed to transfix the humans for much of the game, and in the latter half of proceedings the crowd had started to boo due to how little action and axcitement there was, but as usual the Garbagemen did not care as there were mountains of waste to collect all throughout the stadium...”
