“A great spirited game, with only one player (LAWN GREENLY R.I.P) dying, albeit he snapped his own little green neck dodging away from one of those pesky diving tackles. The opposition coach was a delight to match up against as always, and this game marked the first ever meeting of two of the original XXXL teams, the Night Goblin Nasties and the Broken Nose Nibblerz.

Gondo Gobbo scored a great TD after Snot Veeregudde sacked the Nibz ball carrier. Methz Upz, Captain, was left red faced and unconcious as Gondo stormed up the field on the Nibz offensive drive, scoring mid first half and making things difficult for the Broken Nose Nibblerz. Ripper Bolgot and Basher had faced off during the Nibz aborted offence and Basher had put Bolgot down, but who was the bigger Star got muddied as Basher was knocked out by a lesser Troll on the Nibz team. Refusing to come back on for the rest of the half Basher pretended to be asleep until he realised that the team would probably win. The Nibz second first half offensive fizzled and players on the BNN were quickly leaving the field. Then it was the Nibblerz turn to kick off the second half and it was very much one way traffic. The Nibz lineman Twose Toes looked like he might hold up the Nasties alone but he was quickly taken off the field by Grass Greenly. Grass Greenly, enraged by the death of his cousin Lawn Greenly, rampaged around the field stomping on any Goblin who was down. The ref, terrified by the look in his eye left him well alone, and after EIGHT verified official stompings there were at least five Nibz off the field due to his boots. Deffrolla easily ran in the last touchdown and that was pretty much it. 2-0 to the Nasties. A thumping return by the NGN to official XXXL and through to the next round of the tournament. ”
