“My opponent will blame this loss on the kickoff table, I attribute the win to lucky passing. Sure, two quick snaps allowed me to turn my catcher into a one-turner for a couple lightning-fast scores (pun intended), which seriously infuriated Monboesen. But then, I played the entire game down a few players, and at a couple points was down to only 4 elves on the pitch, not even a tree. (Both he and my str 4 lineman had niggled out of the game to start.)

But I think the true victory came with my passing game. Twice I converted long bomb passes for scores, and I saved the victory by two key plays: once, his foul appearance/pass block beastman (GREAT combo, btw!) put his tz on my lineman, covering both passer/receiver with his FA umbrella. Yet not only did I complete the pass (in a blizzard no less) but dodged around and did two gfi's to handoff to my catcher, who did two gfi's to paydirt (in the snow) for his hat trick third of the day. The other key pass was late in the game to ensure the victory, snatching the ball up from in front of one of his cw's, passing to an unskilled lineman in two tz's, who then dodged through multiple tz's on his way to handing off to my catcher, stealing the game-tying score from a well-deserving coach.
