The human opponents were a tough match for our Cthulhuinoids, with a quartet of talented Blitzers, especially the two who caused the four injuries the team sustained. Shoggoth was awarded the MVP award for, well, not dying when he should have, and Dhole also avoided death, but with the help of the apothocary. The critical moment came midway through the second half, when Dagon and Shantak were SI'd on consecutive blocks. Dagon's MA loss is a serious blow to the promising linefiend, and with the injuries the team faces a possible manpower crisis in its' next game. Hats off to new talent The Fungi from Yuggoth, who notched his first TD in his first game for the team after being called up from, well, Yuggoth.

The fans are happier about the win - It is perhaps unfortunate that the Campus faithful are so demanding, especially the mindless piping section, but it does drive the team to excel... Income is also improved, as the addition of some "divers saltes" to the "Crawling Chaos" soup went over well.

Topper 28 was a good opponent who had some tough luck at important moments throughout the game. We both managed to fumble with impunity, increasing the hilarity factor greatly. I would definitely play him again.
