“As usual Star Blocker Uriel slept in the forest first half. He would have been nice to have as the game started off with a lot of LoS bashing. Luckily for me his two ballcarrying beastmen in the backfield constantly drops the ball while trying to pick it up. This allows me two turns to send a player back there. I get a chance to recover the ball with Binah(my darling) after he drops it, though she fails the 3+ RR pickup. This is where the Chaos gods expressed their dissatisfaction with the beasts, as he failed the P-U for the 4th time, bouncing the ball at first to his side-kick who then drops it right into the hand of Binah – she did not fail us again.

During his drive he… fails the P-U again. I’m starting to feel _very_ lucky indeed and the ball is just within 2xGFI range for my thrower. I’ll run Lucifer down the pitch snatch the ball from the ground in front of the beastmen and throws a beautiful pass to my catcher – only to see it intercepted by a beast named, fitting enough, CatcH. He quickly forms up a box and I have a go at the box with my Wardancer, and did Raphael let us down? No he sure did not, 1db – POW ball bounces out and land on the ground just outside the box. Binah (my darling) snatches the ball from the beasts again and make a ball recovery running game for a TD.

Second half saw a nasty blitz kick-off result that messed my defence up a bit since I didn’t have time to secure the ball. In all I never really totally lost control of the ball, just that I had a really hard time moving it around. Had a couple of embarrassing 2+ dodge, 2+ HO for TD situations, but in the en we came through.

Last drive saw a lot of bashing and again – he failed the pick-up. Since I realized that his guys were not going to make it next time either I sent a few players down his side. Since I managed to outnumber his two guys in his own backfield while the other beast were busy blocking my tree, I could force another TD.

Good game lacking Casualties and it gave me some good winnings too.
