Ottawa recovered the ball.. but the scrum that followed, with lots of cheeky blocks by the pro elves, resulted in Dan being KO'd, Demelash being badly hurt by the crowd, and a 0-0 conclusion to the first half.

In the second half, we can sum it up with 3 plays.
Play one: LSU dodges through a crazy screen to tag the ball on turn one. Ottawa blitzes and niggles LSU's best one turn option.
Play two: Ottawa goes for a cheeky gangfoul but needs a 1 die (with block) to properly protect the ball.. and double skulls! LSU gets a 1 die on the ball as a result... and double skulls.
Play three: Ottawa has mostly gotten the ball safely towards LSU end, with a massive screen between Dan and the opposition. So LSU makes 9 3+ or 4+ dodges, brings the ball down with wrestle (on a -2d blitz)... and snake eyes the last dodge to pick up the ball, badly hurting their own elf.
