“A good game against a tough team of undead. The Cthulhu Spawn were up 2-0 at the half, capitalising on unlucky fumbles by opposing ghouls. Still, after Tsathoggua and Deep One failed to start due to niggling injuries, and the Iron Man/Stilletto/Claw werewolf smashed up both He Who Should Not be Named and Shoggoth, and the crowd took Nyarlathotep, the hellish Things from beyond time and space were only left with six on the field for the second half, somewhat hamstringing their defensive efforts.
The Fungi from Yuggoth made a valient attempt at scoring after half-time, but was hamstrung by rolling three skulls in a roll trying to penetrate the wall of undead, pretty much directly leading to the second and third TDs against. More time in the blocking pit for him, I guess.
This was not a terrible loss, however, as there were no lasting injuries or deaths. The fans seemed to recognise that the team put up a valiant effort, and they bought lots of gear, keeping the money flowing. Maybe it was the new Fungi from Yuggoth mushroom meal...
Oest was a good opponent who did not go out of his way to beat up on my team, as he could have. I would definitely reccomend trying a match against him.
