“The Rotted Flesh received the kick off and pushed deep early, only to have experienced Ghoul Eric Nightshadow killed by an unlikely block by the Dead Heads! (His rookie Werewolf had no skills, and my Ghoul had Blodge and the ball, and he got the Pow on one of the two dice and killed me LOL). The Flesh fought hard, and eventually managed to recover the ball and score the first TD of the match through Wight, Lord Soth.

In the second period, the Dead Heads found themselves under immense pressure as they failed to pick up the ball for over a third of the second period. The Flesh pushed closer and closer to the ball when suddenly, the Dead Heads managed to pick up the ball, hand off and then throw a Long Pass downfield (all with AG 3 and no rerolls LOL) and the Flesh were caught completely out of position!

The Flesh rushed back to threaten the ball carrier and the Dead Heads had no choice but to score immediately.

The Flesh were then able to pull together a difficult play to score in the dying seconds of the game despite the inept blocking of their Flesh Golem (3 dice blitz on a Lineman with Block next to my ball carrier, gets Skull, Skull and Skull/Pow).

With no rerolls left, I had to dodge out with a Wight, and then either GFI to score the winning TD, or the much safer option of handing off to the Werewolf who has Catch. A very tight game and almost a draw. Losing my best Ghoul, who also got the MVP for the game (and due to a bug my opponent gets him as a Zombie AND gets to keep his MVP too LOL) hurts quite a bit as I got no skills out of this game.”
