The chainpush was after a -2d Witch Elf block, which could have failed.
Without the quad skull I could have scored on turn 7, then I still had a Wizard in the sleeve and Bomber to use on Half 2, in case of successful 1TTD (with 1 rr left not so sure, by the way).
Also, it's a bit harder to 1TTD with DE without Valen Swift, hired as Inducement, with an already overdog team.
It would be nice to play without facing artificial overdogs and GF-farmed teams.
That said, yes, I surely suck. After all, I have just CR 1857 and I'm top 1 coach with Orcs Overall.
About the farmed team: it's not that hard to know how many games you played with your DE team, because your account says it:
Your Overall played games with DE: 22/9/7 total: 38 games
Your Open played games with DE: 18/6/6 total: 30 games
Your Box played games with DE: 4/3/1 total: 8 games
So, it's not that hard to make the calculation and know that you played only 8 games on 38 with DE in the Box, which is just a 21.05% of all the games you played. Not a great percentage, roughty you played just 1 game on 5 in the Box with your DE.
Now, let's see my own Orc games played:
Overall games played with my Orcs: 113/49/11 total: 173 games
Open games played with my Orcs: 34/14/2 total: 50 games
Box games played with my Orcs: 76/35/6 total: 117 games
I played with my Orcs in the Box the 67.63% and the 28.9 % in Open.
Compare that with your 21.05% in the Box and 78.94% in Open and you will see that there is a huge difference between our Box percentages.
On top of that, for your information, I stopped playing on GF since August 3rd 2022: https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=4396263, which is the day when Box was re-implemented. I played on GF because for 11 months Box had not been available, so if I wanted to test the BB2020 rules I had to use the GF. There was no other way to find games. Not my fault if Box was not working. I don't blame people for playing on GF when Box was not available, I blame people still playing with GF AFTER the Box has been implemented.
It's way different.
About starting a new team: I don't like to play TV 1000 teams, they are more prone to bad luck (due to lack of skills and Dedicated Fans, not going to risk to lose a player to Officious Ref just because I made a new team). It was already super boring for me to make a new Orc team to play with the BB2020 rules, let alone make another Orc team. As I said, not my fault if Box was not available. For me, Box should have never been removed, but it's not my site, so I just adapted to situation. Also, Orcs, unlike DE, struggle to find game on GF. I played more often my 4 Elven teams on GF because games were easier to find.
In the old Box, with former ruleset, I already had another Orc team. It was not transferred to the new Box, so I had to make a new Orc team, play some games on GF (due to lack of Box) then switched to Box-only as soon as new Box was available.
Moreover, as long as people will always be able to play with the hybrid GF-Box system, I have no reason to make a new team.
I would make a new team ONLY if it played vs other Box-only teams.
With this hybrid GF-Box system I will never make a new team. I could make a new team and then play vs GF-farmed teams, I have no reason to do it. Give me a pure Box-only environment, with Box-only teams, and I will remake all the teams I have. With hybrid GF-Box system? No way.
Also, I have 1 team per race, I never make more that 1 team per race. Unlike many coaches here, I'm versatile and I like to play different races.”
