Game started with humans inducing a Weather Mage, a powerful counter to Khemri that practically makes winning with Khemri impossible. Despite massive gap in coaching skill, that inducement alone allowed him to score his touchdown. My opponent had already got two rerolls from kick-offs, and kept causing casualties to my Khemri, making it impossible to score in 4 turns...
This ruleset forgives positioning mistakes thanks to multiple rr and rewards Inducements abuse over solid gameplay.
After this game, I recommend two houserules to improve this game:
- Khemri thrower can perform pick-up rolls with d8 instead of d6, as picking up the ball was hopeless in this game
- -2db should be performed with a single d8, where results 1-3 are turnovers, 4-6 are pushbacks and 7-8 knock down the opposing player, to punish weaker coaches with careless blocking. In addition, a negative 1 modifier is applied to injury (but not armor) roll to decrease the odds of a lucky casualty.
