“The Kings use their underdog funds to bring star player Helmut Wulf (and his chainsaw) to the pitch.

First turn is a bloodbath - Wulf's chainsaw stuns the minotaur, the troll stuns the Apostate's orc, one blitzer stuns a lineman, while the other SI's (MNG) another. Then it's the Apostate turn, and the skaven barrels into Wulf, rolling nothing but sixes for both armor penetration and injury; taking him off the pitch. An orcish blitzer is also killed that first turn, although the apothecary managed to stich him back together.

The CAS's slowed down - but never really stopped - after that, with a final tally of 3 BHs and 3 SIs for the Apostates to 1 SI for the Kings.

The Waagh-Kings' passing game was unfortunately not on-point today - the first pass attempt, late in the first, ended up fumbling three spaces towards their own goal, allowing a turn 8 Apostate TD. The second could have allowed the Kings to get a point late in the second half, but was fumbled on the catch.
