Well Jim its a perfect day for some bloodbowl (fine weather).

The Old World Wave Riders are bringing slightly higher TV into todays match and the Arkangells have hired an extra apothecary to look after them during this game. Who knows they may need the services later.

The Old World Wave Riders have won the toss Bob and they have elected to receive their kick to get us underway.

The ref is looking officious today (kick off result - argument with ref 1 elf stunned to start) Jim, although im not expecting much in the way of foul play today between the elves. The Ref probably wont have much work to do. Wait a minure Jim, Udrindi Yilvoxe as arguing ith the ref before weve got underway. OH MY GOD, the ref has punchhed out the malcitrant elf and hs whistled for play to begin

The Sea Elves get off to a good start by making successful short range flair pass between catcher and thrower. The catcher returns the ball to the thrower, wow these elves are showing off. (1spp).

The Sea Elf blitzers take down the eves on the line of scsrimmage. 1 of them must be feeling a bit cocky and goes racing down the pitch.

The Elven union mob him. 3 players push him dngerously close to the edge of the pitch and hes in danger. His confidence has dried up. The elves put a little bit of pressur eon the sea elves ball carrier but its not much.

(Turn 2 sea elf). The Sea Elves make a pass out wide. Ryker Hunir (catcher with block) receives the ball and thats a second successful pass for the quarterback (thrower received block from free spp points). The Sea Elves readjust t this flank attack a lineman and blocker joining the catcher out wide.

Mark Deoger (2nd Sea Elf Catcher) makes a blitz against an isolated elf in the middle of the field.

Oh Bob that looks bad. (Gilondo Omarn - Badly Hurt). The elf lineman goes down hard, hes off to see that wandering apothecary, looks like he might be out of this game.

Thats an early blow to the Arkangells Jim. Their decision to hire additional apothecaries seems at least semi justified. This is early to see someone leave the field.

The Sea Elves are grinding on their slinkier cousins. (elf lineman stunned in centre).

OOOO Jim, theres anotehr big block. Faluvie Celoa looks to be badly hurt after that block. (Turn 2 sea elf 2 BH 1 stunned).

These elves are taking a battering today. They clearly knew they might need some looking after and were only 10 minutes in.

The sea elf blocker on the right hand side attempts to dodge away from his 3 marks and goes down under a tackle. Probably safer right now on the deck. Although that little skirmish might attract the refs attention.

I think the Elves need to adjust Bob, things have started badly for them.


The Elves form up into defensive columns to resist the advancing Sea Elves. Its gonna be tough for them right now.

The Sea Elves pick a column and swarm after it.

Ryker Hunir (Sea elf catcher PA 5+) attempts a flair pass to the QB, to be ready for the next pass and FUMBLES. Thats a turnover for the sea elves.

Well either way Bob the ball is pretty safe. Lets see if the elves can impress us with their defensive play.

An elf lineman races forward to get close to the ball carrier. Udrindi (Elf blitzer dashes forward to make a blitz with the support of his lineman. Dodges through a tackle to get there.

The ball goes loose Jim. Thats the prefect start for the elves looking to take back the ball (turn 3). The elves all dash forward. My God Bob a lineman just got up off the deck, dodges past a tackle and then audaciously picks up the ball while being marled by two players. That guy knows how to play bloodbowl. (GFI, dodge INTO 2 tackle zone [4+]. Pick up ball [4+]). Dolena Ivan then makes the pass to Aovan Thaxter (elf catcher + dodge).

That pass is absolutely Wild Jim.. Hes massive overpowered it and its gone sailing past its intended mark. Time for the sea elves to attempt to get the ball back under control. (Team reroll used, needed6+ for accurate, got 2 then 3. Pass scatted 6 squares in random direction).

The elf blitzers continue the grind on th elves. (elven lineman KOd).

The nearest Sea elf players blitz in on an elf (Cavinda Ament lineman) in the way of them and the ball and that is a vicious hit Bob. Thats the 3rd elf player being stretchered off the field this drive (BH - turn 3).

Thing is they are still a long way from the ball Jim (Sea Elves) and all that armour is looking pretty heavy right now. The QB Attempts to dodge out of the way of an elf to get after the ball but, oooo hes been tackled. Thats a turnover.

[ELF Turn 4] Aovan Thaxter (Elf catcher + dodge) goes for the ball and he picks it up. These guys are moving much faster than their sea based cousins.

Has taken the ball back to his own line. They are looking for options Bob.


(Sea elf turn 5) The sea elves are consolidating Jim. They are in a great position. They have a 4 player advtanage at this point. The sea elf blob converges on the most advanced elf players. Ryker Hunir (Sea Elf catcher + block) blitzes into another elf (lino). Thats the biggest looking hit weve seen so far this afternoon. (SI MNG). Ryker is quite something. Skillful and dangerouos. That was... graceful nd brutal all at the same time.

Thats makes a 5 player advantage Jim.

Thats right Bob and we are only halfway through the first half of this game. Who knew the elves would need their apothecaries so badly today.

Oh My good Jim. Brian Palus (sea elf lineman) has just decapitated an elf. An apothecary races onto the field but its too late, theres no fixing that (dead elf blitzer - apoth roll = still dead).


[Elf Turn 5]

Well Bob, the Elves have fully disengage for the first time this game. They have the ball but they dont have many players on the field. What will they do ?

Well its the sea elves turn to respond. Their blockers advance on the remaining elves and the ball carrier. Another big hit goes in and another elf is KO'd hes being recovered by the medical staff but he looks like hell be ok to get back on the field later. (4 elves on pitch, 11 sea elves. Sea Elf turn 6).

Mark Deoger races forwward (Sea Elf catcher) and pushes himself a bit too much. Hes fallen over right in front of the elf and he looks like he might have sprained something on the way down. (Sea elf failed GFI - armour break - stunned).
