“Our second match of S43, and it was not so rosy.

The dwarves removed zombie after zombie in the first half (REGEN!) and in the end, there was nothing left to stop them from trundling in a 1-0 8 turn touchdown.

The second half, Ottawa chose to score in 2 turns. Then the ball was kicked next to the LOS, and UBC moved forward with their mega ball carrier... only for Ottawa to completely box them in, and smash the ball away after only 2 turns of completely outguarding the dwarves.

Then quad skull. But still, Ottawa was positioned to get the ball!

Then.. failed pickup. And UBC ran away and scored. 2-1.

The lesson here? WHY DIDN'T WE FREE STARR TO DO THE PICKUP??!!! So ridiculous, even Ottawon't should know it.

We also did an extremely credible one turn attempt, despite an argument with a ref stunning a zombie who was supposed to ensure the chain push. We got the ball into the dwarven end zone.. but sadly without Antonia holding it.
