“Ottawa vs Poli.

Both teams were on fire tonight, with player after player leaving the pitch, particularly near the end of the first half.

Ottawa wasn't so good on their offense - they completely missed that.. a dirty player zombie does not actually have guard, and skulled a 1d. This allowed Poli to one die surf the ball with a troll slayer, and then the ball was thrown.. to Ottawa's end zone.

The troll slayer then made his very stolid, determined way, after the ball, and scored 4 turns later, to end the half 0-1 for Poli.

The second half.. well, Poli quickly went down in dwarves. And a deep kick scared them into defending well into their half, which the ghouls absolutely lunged forward to pressure the ball relentlessly. And eventually... Starr stole the ball, and scored, after a key failed dodge by their stellar Zacarias.

3 turns left, and Poli was already down dwarves. They attempted to flee back to their endzone with the ball, but.. rush after rush with zombies eventually got the ball down. And Starr jumped, snagged, and rushed twice to score the 2-1 win in the dying seconds of the match.
