“First Half Humans chose to receive. Caught out by MD deciding to defend aggressively with his elves, ball carrier protection ragged, not played enough games of late. Fortunate to score in turn 8, and a 1TTD response was always going to be tricky in the rain with rerolls gone and guards aplenty around the LOS. 1-0.

Second half elves marched forwards and again MD changed his usual tactics by sticking the boot in, removing some of my hummies with uncouth fouling :-). Couldn't stop them with 9 men, and the turn 8 score was a formality. 1TTD unlikely with rain and AG3+ catcher (and moles!). 1-1. Happy to escape with the draw.
