First Half the Fiends didn't bother with ball protection and the carrier was duly sacked, ball went loose and Flames bunged it right up the other end. The DE runner scrambled back to set up a turn 8 length of field passing play, but his passing sucked, and the grateful loose HE lino walked in for TD 0-1 half time.
Second half the Flames were happy to protect the ball deep in their own half. Fiends couldn't get close, and then turn 16 tried a ridiculous multi reroll dodging 1D sack, which worked, removed star catcher AND most importantly the crowd threw the ball to where it was retrievable for a HUGELY lucky hand-off score. 1-1.
