“Three Day Old Sandwich, a veteran of the Gastro Pub, gave up his life today (not voluntarily, of course) when the biggest noble you've ever seen walloped him into the pitch. Possibly revenge for Just Dessert and Cheese Platter beating up a few unsuspecting journeymen.

I thought I was in a lot of trouble when I kicked a touchback at the start, but then the Pub got the nobles embroiled in a mid-field swamp of the kind we enjoy, and the slugfest (3 KOs each in the first half, and I won the KO roll at half time while the nobles were content to sleep) meant the field was fairly clear to slog through, although that ogre was a constant worry for me. Some sloppiness near the end meant I almost gave up the ball to a blitz, but the good ol' 4+, 3+ dodge got me a TD and then it was just a mad panic to stop a 2 turn score. Whew!”
