“First of, the handicap was virus. Since Defenders of the Turtle suffer from a few eralier matches, and has had to keep some niggled players to be able to field at least almost eleven players, it was a good handicap to get for the orcs.
The first half started with Defenders of the Turtle receiving. A lineup for quick dives on the sides blew up in the elven faces when a blitz and a scatter ending in the middle of the orcs-teams now formed cage guaranteed a quick TD for Better luck next time. This was followed by a quite routine-touchdown from the elves. The rest of the first half was a slow advancement from the orcs, but they wouldn't quite manage another TD.
Second half started powerfull for the orcs, slowly advancing in a quite secure cage. Finally, the Phoenix Warrior Meredessi decided that it was worth a longshot, and dodge in between three players and managed to push the black orc blocker carrying the ball out into the crowd. It almost resulted in a total turnaround and a victory for the elves, but it would turn out to be for no use as Meredessi himself got killed (another pushout, a bit annoying since the reason i followed up the block was a stupid missclick... :-( ) and the orcs managed to turn it around again and make a final TD, winning the match.
In the second half, we suffered a disconnection just as one of my players manage a nice block. Thanks to Jinxed for being a fair player who believed me when telling what happened (badly hurt) and moved the player out of the way when we couldn't replicate the move. Not all players on fumbbl are that good players.”
I started with a blitz in my favour (a novelty!) and even scored.
He equalised and my luck turned sharply in that 1st half; they could not even pick up the ball.
In the second half all looked well and fine until he blitzed my black orc with the ball. First he makes a dodge on 5+ (into 3 TZ!) then makes a -2D block rolling double POW.
Yeah right.
In the end I got the ball and made a long pass, my blitzer even caught the ball. 2-1.
Phew.
The bad bit was FF going down. Despite winning, 3 cas and 2 TD's...
