“A very chess-match like game - lots of pushing around and nothing to note in the casualty department until a kill (for a skink) late in the second half when he blocked a HobGob.
The opponent easily let me run down the pitch in the first half setting up a pretty good screen since he was obviously trying to win by attrition fouling my Saurus's and Kroxi. By the time he gave any sort of push I had a solid screen and stalled until turn 8. I burned my apo on a KO'd saurus as I didn't want to leave him to fate - in the end, glad I did.
The second half I was able to set up a defensive screen of 6 Saurus and my Krox that never really had a problem since he failed to remove any of them. On the last 2 turns he finally made a desperation attempt to go down the pitch which was almost executed when I snaked my last roll allowing him a 50/50 chance to get the ball. Well played Runbad”
