In the 1st half my opponent failed an early dodge meaning a quick turn and a chance for the followers of Khorne to get up nice and close with the elves. The Blood God gifted so many removals that the team made light defensive work of the half.

The easiest of 1-0 victories would surely follow were it not for three failed pick ups from the Pro lineman (RIP Edward Clumsybrook and his sure hands), with me leaving the ball COMPLETELY unprotectected on the final attempt for an easy Elven score. The Bloodseekers just stood and watched!

Khorne was so enraged by this point that all he could do was hand the ball to his most trusted disciple. Lots of blocks later and the Bloodspawn was so consumed by fury that it forgot to run for the line, snatching a loss from the jaws of victory.

A couple of other HUGE mistakes in this game - better positioning on the ball carrier in 1st half would've made blitz impossible and easy score for us. Another one that haunts me right at the death is I could've juggernaut blitzed the treeman to move the bloodspawn close enough to the line for a double rush score!
