“BB2020 Game 9: Black Orcs

Our first win. Several things went our way. Number one, we recovered the ball. Number two, the sneaky git was 3 for 3 on fouls for removals, and number three, our opponent got some bad breaks. We got the ball and managed to screen it off well, and make our blocks on the LOS. No removals, but no failures either. Sneaky git came forward on Turn 1, and KO'd a lineman. 2nd turn, just got the ball into the cage, made a blitz. Things were looking secure. 3rd turn pushed forward a bit, and managed a KO on a block warrior with the sneaky git. Turn 4, our positioning was seeming very strong, so we retreated back to get more blocks and fouls, managed a casualty on a foul against a goat. Screened off well and opponent called it off. He was already playing with 3 loners, got a kick off stun, ogre going stupid, first turn blitz to double skull. No good. I am hopeful that we were successful for our first outing yet. I hope it doesn't always come paired with my opponent getting diced hard and having a mutilated team from his previous match. ”
