-Chainsaw Learning: When fouling with the chainsaw you still have to click Chainsaw, not foul. I kept fouling with Helmut, but was unsure why it wasn't adding his modifiers, and now I know why. I actually think the game could've gone much differently had those fouls actually come from the saw. Opponent had a +Ag Gutter, and I was set on taking him out, but couldn't get there after multiple foul attempts.
-Never Leave an Edge on the Cage: I was having an effective drive initial drive, but I decided to have the back of my cage be a solo player stacked with the carrier - not a good idea. Ball was sacked, nearly had a counter score result, but was lucky to make it too difficult for the opponent to capitalize on the error.
-Side Cage Defense: It didn't help that I was down Bobs, but I did not defend well against the side cage used by the opponent to score. My pressure did force him to score in 2 turns, which could be considered a win. He was able to relatively easily score in two turns with few dice rolls of risk aside from the initial pick up and pass. Need to look at if I could improve there.
-Target Key Pieces With the Saw: I did feel that even though I was clicking things incorrectly, the action of attempting to remove his quality targets when they were available was an effective strategy. We didn't get the permanent removals in most cases that we hope for, but still a sound strategy.
-Inducement for Helmut: I do think it was a sound decision to take Helmut. The idea was that I likely wouldn't be able to take out the Blodging Gutters, so I hoped that Helmut could cut them down instead. Bribe was hopefully to get him back after the first drive. I would do it again. ”
