Outmatched and Outdiced - Opponent was clearly much more skilled than me, but he also played very unorthodox to what I would normally expect. Extremely willing to base up and take hits form the get go. We did inevitably run into problems as a result of him forcing us to roll dice, but I actually think things could've gone a different way if not for a very poor showing on rolls with an unskilled team. nearly 50% skulls and both downs on the blocks, basically washed any chance away from a game in the first half. The second half was much the same with the opponent being so far ahead with positioning and skills that 1D blocks, -2D blocks could be thrown with no real concern for failure because we never really had a chance to attack the ball regardless.
No Foul Nuffle Prayer - As a team that typically puts fouling as one of its central strategies, I would say that this is a big negative on the part of playing Black Orcs. We will press forward regardless, but some feel bads about an event that heavily reduces your teams effectiveness.
Dwarven Salt - First instance of saltiness associated with playing against Dwarves. I can see now, especially in the hands of a talented player, why dwarves are so reviled. If your plan is too remove them, you're going to have a tough time. If your plan is too out bash them, if they can run 1Ds and -2Ds very effectively you'll run into trouble as well. In the case of Black Orcs you won't out run them. Felt pretty heavily outgunned, but we're Black Orcs and we know that's kind of what we signed up for. ”
