1. Vampires are tricky in good and bad ways. I couldn't grasp how to effectively cage against their gaze ability, but eventually settled on trying to "double wall" the cage. That was only possible because of how heavily slanted the removals were. Also the presence of a M8 player on their team changes their range dramatically. I thought we had a decent position, but then the M8 pulled away quickly. A bad day for vampires on dice can be very difficult to overcome.
2. Make sure you know what turn it is. I attempted to score with a black orc towards the end and that easily could've resulted in a draw. I thought we still had 2 more turns to advance, and we did not. ”
