1. Gaze...
I need to have a conversation with someone about defense against gaze when playing against vampires. The only solution I can think of is trying to double wall your cage, which is very difficult to do. I also think just having screeners around the edge of the cage can help. The gaze isn't the problem so much as the blitz is, so if you can give up the gazes, but prevent a viable play from making the blitz maybe that's an idea. Tough stuff though.
2. Removals are Vital to Black Orc Success
We started this game with 2 badly hurts. This was followed later by several KOs. Without these removals the Black Orcs really struggle. I believe some strategies to getting these removals are to target any available soft target on the pitch, and to have a plan for the foul. With Sneaky Git I feel you can often take the foul on the low cost target simply because the likelihood of you being sent off are pretty low. These removals and the KOs not waking up for the second half were a huge part of our success.
3. Pow the Blodgers
We were extremely fortunate to get Pows on his blodging vampires pretty consistently. This shouldn't be the plan. We need to get some tackle at some point because this shouldn't have been the norm.
4. Kickers
Caught off guard again by a player with kick. I need to remember that against kick you must have more depth and width when returning. We again got pretty lucky with a pick up that could've easily been a fail thrown into the crowd.
