1. Bash and Foul
Able to take advantage of many removals early. Sneaky Git extremely effective - managed to take out both trolls and probably 2-3 goblins in the first half. Bashing on its own also very effective. Armor rolls were not in favor for the goblins. Wild that even something like a troll which you normally think of as very tough to remove - with 4 assists on the foul, his 10+ is now a 6+, and his armor is a KO at 7+ instead of 8+ with Dirty player. It is more than 50% chance that player is getting removed if we've broken armor. Just wild.
2. Mark Up the Bomber ASAP
Were able to get tackle zones on the bomber quickly and I wasn't concerned about him after that point.
3. Attack the Positionals
Had my priority on getting rid of their sneaky git, the bomber, and the blodgers. Also found ourselves in the position to take out the Fanatic as well.
4. Dealing With Secret Weapons
Two approaches: you can try to score very early to limit the amount of damage they can do and hopefully get them sent off or wasted for a bribe. We don't have a great means to score early. The other option is to remove as many players as possible and score on turn 8 forcing the opposing player to put them on their turn 8 and essentially waste their usefulness. I considered trying to score early with the touch back kick, but I felt pretty confident that the goblins would prevent us from getting far, so I opted for the max removals route.
