“The opponent was toughest one yet. Also patient with my timing, with no time outs. I thank you.

Opponent easily scored touchdown with time to wait and block down my players. We were lucky not more casualties. 30 blocks for 2 casualties. My poor position easily exposed by a much better coach.

In the turn 5th was when I made crucial mistakes, doing 1DB and not moving pieces or doing 2DB. It was with hope to use free mummy and use for blitz. A silly error!

Only some big luck to pick up ball helped my to score touchdown. Could have been 0-2 or 0-3. We still search for our first win, but this was lucky not a big loss.

More zombies taking the spp for match player hurts. And now Mummy killed we will have very tough matches to learn from.

Learnings:

1) Do not leave mummy isolated for blitz and kill. It is too valuable.

2) Do the safest moves first, even when trying for fun play. It is no fun when position collapses.

3) Guard edges better. It is again opponent runs around outside edge. Too easy.

4) The one turn touchdown defence does not stop throw teammate defence. It is one or other I think. I am not sure.


My Super Star opponent does the following to learn from:

Offence:
1. Diagonal LOS block to maximise hitting.
2. Blitz corner to expose edge.
3. Screen side of pitch where ball is.
4. Blitz, then reposition to assist block. Brilliant.
5. Ogre is tar pit, soaking up my players.
6. Moved ball side to side like I am wobbly tooth!
Defence:
1. I fail pick up, he blitz my corner and swarm for pressure.
2. Push Ogre into weak side of cage force 1DB fails and re-rolls waste.
