Ended up with two fouls the first two turns. Both were doubles, and rolled a 1 for a bribe. Really nasty start for our fouling specialty crew. Also leads to some sneaky git regret. For our efforts we had 2 stuns.
2. 2-1 Grind Misses
Forced the early score, but had a Timeout Event with 4 turns turning to 3 turns. Then had a missed pick-up after re-roll. After that we were basically sunk and trying to play for a circus score while preventing the defense having a counter score because of how far we extended. Wasn't meant to be.
Our second half things progressed well. We had a kick off event go our way and had one of his players removed, but in general we played sloppy giving up an early shot on the ball with several pushes. Another from a wide open player I hadn't noticed. An Ogre going stupid made it look like we had a shot, but we were short on players and couldn't form a cage even a square closer without big dodge issues.
3. Open Shots at Goblins
Opponent did a good job targeting goblins and getting removals. Sometimes they get lucky with AV 8+, but this time they often led to removals. I tried to screen them, but every once in a while you have to send a goblin out, and sadly it often ended badly.
