“Bonkers game indeed! 8 BH/SI in first half and a bunch of KO left both teams hurting at half time. Even Cindy Piewhistle got involved in the fouling frenzy as both teams looked to stick the boot in as often as possible with no thought of any consequences... proper Blood Bowl! The ref let cindy off initially but then reconsidered at half time, banning her for the rest of the match (booooooo!).
The severely depleted UW had to deploy some excellent defensive positioning to slow down the gnome offense in the second half. but the remaining cheeky fox eventually made a run for it although needed some luck to avoid being sacked by the star gutter runner before dodging in for the TD to tie the game.
Maybe the gnomes could have been a bit braver in the second half to push for the win but with that awesome gutter runner and the handy blitzer still up to mischief they were happy to take the draw.
