A game of chances, and missed opportunities. I feel there was a way to convert, but unable to find it.

My opponent played brilliantly in my eyes, even when faced with adversity that Nuffle did present. Some excellent creation of box, and chain push, and creation of tackle zones to make life for the orcs difficult.

My defence was adequate, with Nuffle to support. T4 I did have sacking opportunity. It does fail, as only 1db with re-roll squandered. There are 3x 2db to take, but there is risk to close off sack pathway. I ponder it, but still think it the correct risk.

T6 is 1db, a poor decision. More to be gained by leave the piece there.

My offence I move to middle and connect quickly to my front line. I manage to survive big pressure from undead basing, but my smart opponent easily able to get 2db sack on ball after I attempt to run through to try for score down. I feel it is wrong move somewhere...

Looking to replay, there is a better position I can take for my T4 2nd half, to keep ball carrier out of range of zombie blitz. I cannot protect from tagging, but can for sacking. Orc blitzer to extreme edge of pitch. It is then 88% chance of blitz tag away (with re roll) to score. This is moment that cost chance for the game. I see it now.

It is of course mistakes elsewhere to lead to my poor options, and my opponent expertly exploits and orchestrates. But this is where I see.

My learnings:

1) analyse threat range of opponent piece. Be quicker to decide safest position away from threats.

The coach Spence does give me advice the following: "moving central with ball carrier let me use the middle pieces/zombie. holding to side leaves me at best a tag with wight only".

It is kind and generous to provide such as this, and something for me to ponder upon. Thank you for the game Spence, it was most enjoyable and good for thinking.
