My opponent coach does not give advices, but I can learn from watching him. He is a master of the orcs, and I am unable to do anything against his position.

First half the orcs go through us easily. I am not sure what dwarves could do to stop? We have learned to keep pressure up to force the score or a mistake. It nearly happens, but my opponent is too clever and recovers quickly. Almost, but not quite.

Again, in the 2nd half, we cannot handle the strength or speed advantage of the orc. The Coach Sickaseggs is a master, and I have heard him from the podcasts. He takes his time, eventually forcing us too and edge (hard commitment as it is big orc) before basing us.

Many dices must be rolled to switch sides, protect ball, but enormous pressure comes. In the end and stretch play is forced, and failed. Agonising defeat once again. Oh so close it seems, but I cannot expect to compete just yet with coaches of this calibre.

Learnings:

1) I note, the S4 big orc on outside is excellent.

2) Team value. The orcs take one less re roll, but have enormous skill advantage. It does help.

3) Dwarves... sigh... I am told they are 'OP', and the block skill did save me many times. But... so weak AND so slow? I do not see where it is they are competitive. I will have to learn them more.

EDIT: Advices from the 145. It is a bad match up at low TV, the orc vs dwarf. So, OK. The tactic for sideline is generally not best, re set of cage is preference. I think the both down block on big orc steeled my mind to sideline commit. It is OK, and Blood Bowl is as such. ”
