“A brawling game, Orc v Orc mirror match with many scrums and mighty thumps.
In truth, I still do not understand the way of the Orc, however I am learning the hard way with Big Orc 2db.
Nuffle did want blood, and rewarded aggression, which my opponent Coach RawPig did provide. He applied great basing pressure, and we had to find the best way to fight and chain push out of it.
We suffer 65 blocks! But no casualty. Likewise, 48 blocks and 9 with MB do not yield any Cas for this team today. Gloves off next match!
We did discover a little gap, and even with skulls re rolled, and a lovely attempt to sack ball from opponent who could not find the correct dice, we make the T7 chain push to score.
Learnings:
1) T1 I did not protect ball well. Should have used 2nd blitzer to protect, line orc to strengthen flat line defence, and then no need to use re roll.
2) T3 I failed the blocks, finding 1/9. Using re roll it is less than 2% chance of fail, but there it is, turn over and we are heavily based! Odds are still good, and decision was correct in order of operations. ”
