It was quite easy to see, the Undead were outplayed. Coach Java was exceptional, and had Nuffle provided a sliver of good fortune it could well have been a different story. It was a lucky win, and this must be remembered for when the unlucky loss arrives at out doorstep.
My game was a little off. I did lose some concentration, and made poor choices as follows:
1. H1T0 set up with no blitz protection.
2. H1T1 ghoul in backfield as blitz bait. MB tackle blitzer takes him down, silly. Better candidate is keep together, I think...
3. H1T7 GFI fails. It is to escape the tackle blitzer. Better candidate move...?
4. H1T8 silly GFI for no reason, not paying attention.
5. H2T2 mummy follows up, leaving blitzers unmarked, able to target and remove weak ghouls.
6. T2T3 dirty sneak foul with bribe... unsure if mathematically sound, but maybe not...
7. H2T6 MESSY... dodge with wight to assist, instead of DODGE Ghoul? Silly...
In the end, it is a mere 90% play that fails for Coach Java. Cruelty.
Learnings:
1) Cindy bomber is powerful. Exceptional protection of the bomber from Java, and we cannot gain traction. Look to his set up and position. Magnificent.
2) Perhaps... the player in the background as a threat is not so bad?
Well received wisdom from the exceptional Coach Java:
1) Attacking re-rolls best not used when ball is safe. More frugal use required.
2) In a match like this, do not be afraid to attack, press, and engage more. Be bold.
