A bloody affair for the Butterfield Pumpernickels. Yazzy was devastating on the boot throughout the match - thinning the nobility players from the word go. Hizdoo also was again very effective with the ball, able to stay behind a Black Orc will with a significant numbers advantage. Stepping over a trail of bodies the Bashers were able to score in turn 8 of the first half.

The Pumpernickels had some moxie though and weren't willing to go quietly. They were able to recover the ball to start the second half, and score quickly off a long throw from Rye Gingerton to Duke Berry Cream. The Bashers received the following drive and with a severe numbers advantage were able to march down for the 2-1 score. Hizdoo attempted a handoff to a Black Orc near the endzone, but the big was too nervous for the moment of glory. Luckily Hizdoo managed to recover the ball and head in for the score.

The Bashers now move to 4/2/0 and will be poised to take on their toughest opponent yet. The Inter TU Miama CF High Elf Squad coached by Garcangel have posted a 5/0/2 record. Their two blitzers Messi and Gonzalo will both be difficult to handle throughout the match. Catcher Lewis Morgan also will be difficult to stop as he likely will easily outpace our defense, and once he gets the ball he's near impossible to bring to the ground. Much will be determined by how much damage we can inflict in our drive. Yazzy has to have as a good a day as he did today in order for us to have a chance. ”
