“Plays of the Game:
3) Abbie Offman, my backup thrower, fumbles the ghoul-drool covered ball on the last play of the game as he's attempting to pass the ball to Nestor Wakhno who's made a heroic leap past one of the vicious mummies to end up wide open in the endzone.
2) Scream intercepts a pass that was headed for an uncontested pass and hand-off score after some determined blitzing caused a turnover. Whispers in the Night take a 3-2 lead.
1) On my first drive a berserk dog leaps at Max Sterner, who was trying to get himself in position for a short pass and score to a wide open receiver. Sterner trips and falls trying to avoid the dog that made a bee-line towards the ball. Whispers in the Night pick up the loose ball and scamper in for a 1-0 lead. [Translation: my dog decides on precisely the moment I'm moving my dark elf into perfect passing position to jump up at me causing me to accidently move the guy with the ball into one of his tackle zones and in a rare display of elven bumbling he manages to fail his dodge roll and turnover the ball.]
