“We both brought our S4 players and our 'champions' wielding the block skill. But it was decided to play like elves.
My opponent Coach Travistie put the goblins to excellent use, dodging and GFI (with sprint goblin!) to sack my ball in T3 of 1st half! Most magnificent.
T5 is where I decide to escape, but an unreliable block from a goat left us vulnerable. Dodging black orcs result in a 2nd sack! Very entertaining, and shows what is possible when feeling brave.
The tempo of the elf is set, so the goats dodge and dodge again, sacking, picking up recovered ball and handing off once and twice to create the score. 7 from 7 goat dodge this game. Stunning.
Nuffle is entertained by the dancing goat, and sends more poor opponent many skulls. It is a wild game, and we wonder if it was just a dream...
Learnings:
1) Keep ball safe, account for the bold stunty dodges and GFIs. We were sacked as a result.
2) Create options always. Our score in 1st half only possible by creating hand off opportunities.
3) Block skill is to be respected.
This was the 50th game for FUMBBL, and learnings have been reported for each one. It was an entertaining game. Thank you Coach Travistie.
