“Tactical Takeaways-

1. Amazon Unfamiliarity

This the first time I've played the new Amazons and there are several skills that I'm unfamiliar with. Hit and Run is one that I need to do more research on. I'm also unfamiliar with how Defensive works. I recognize that it cancels guard on my turn, but I haven't really thought through what that means and how that would change where I place guard.

2. Tackle Maddness

My opponent really rolled poorly on the dodge rolls, but also it seemed like I rolled a lot of Stumbles, making tackle play a huge roll in this game.

3. Overcommitted the defense to one side

I believe at the start of the half I overcommitted to one flank. I should've stayed more central and allowed the opponent to get down an edge further before I went for it.
