We made mistakes early in the drive, attempting to even the numbers after some early removals.
There was temptation to play for the crowd surf, which did not pay off due to regeneration. We are then easily sacked in our drive. An embarrassing effort where, once again, we cannot protect the ball.
Learnings:
1) Play for the ball, not for removal advantage. We are not good enough to do both.
2) Better candidate in 2nd half would be to pull all players back to defend our ball carrier. I seem incapable of protecting ball with 3 players.”
