“Tactical Takeaways-

1. Coffin Corner Kick + Pouring Rain

Had the perfect kick by our opponent with it in the furthest corner square. I felt good about holding our base line with the high likelihood that the kick was going to the sideline. 2nd turn I dropped anyone we could to a cage, but failed the pick up again. We still managed to have a solid screen around turn 3 and luckily picked it up, but we were very stretched out. Luckily, we were able to keep the mummies tied up. A very precarious 2nd half.

2. Double Surf

First time I've ever double surfed a player. Was a big swing point in the game because after our opponent lost those 2 ball carriers threats, he essentially only had 1 left. The ball that close to our goal line the whole time, meant that he could've scored essentially the entire 2nd half based on range if he could get to the ball.

3. Searching for the 2nd Block

I've become more interested in trying to set up the second block in the event of a push. In this game that came up quite a bit. ”
