“You can usually tell, when you are outclassed. This match, it was clear.

It is maybe 1st half we lose the game, allowing many removals of our key players. It is true, we get some removal too, but down on value come start of 2nd half.

I feel it is not so much mistakes on my part, but excellent play from a superior opponent. It is OK, but still we look for learnings.

Learnings:

1. 3 squares in from sideline, still not safe from necro. My canny opponent surfs us well, and is unlucky not to surf more due to Nuffle's manipulation of the dice.

2. Get tackle ASAP. We cannot deal with blodge ghoul, blodge wolf, blodge this, blodge that. Rolling POW is not reliable. My opponent skills this team superbly.

3. Offensive set up... investigate big orc to sideline, create better protection from pressure, perhaps... Too narrow allowed easy folding on my attack.

4. H2T3 the pressure came. We had a little opening, but needed a knock down. An 80% play which did fail. C’est la vie. After that, attack is shut down and game over.

Success on one parameter- I did play to speed. Some comfort. ”
