“Going into this game, the Bexleyheath Bone Crunchers were in the news for all the wrong reasons following a training ground bust up between the head coach and rookie Ghoul, Sienna Sretalles. Unconfirmed reports claim that Sretalles was demanding a place in the starting eleven after securing MVP in their debut game against Helles Belles [BHP] the week earlier. Despite the undead camp denying the disagreement or the reasons behind any disagreement that did not occur, the head coach arrived with a missing femur (due to be replaced by the team necromancer after the game) and Sretalles started by warming the bench.

The Bone Crunchers won the toss and elected to receive, slowly shambling their way up the pitch and by turn 4, the injuries were starting to mount up for the Eagles who were still putting together a strong columns defence and as massive underdogs, held the wildcard of a wizard up their sleeves.By Turn 5 it looked like the Bone Crunchers had calved open a clear path for a touchdown when star Ghoul, Ric, was zapped by a wizard, dropping the ball and being turned into a Kermit lookalike.

An opportunity had been created for the Eagles and Experienced Thrower, Halao Cognious,saw his moment for glory only to fail a 3+ dodge and stun himself into oblivion. A similar opportunity then occurred in Turn 6 for the Eagles with Veteran, Aesali Warne, taking his chance, only to fail a 2+ dodge, stunning himself followed by a Bone Crunching foul resulting in a niggling injury.Ted (FKA Snake Rohannah) was sent off for his efforts but it was like trading some hi-techs with some air jordans and the undead crowd shook their bones in appreciation.

Paul then scored a touchdown and the next two kick off events saw an enraged ref send two players from the Eagles, in hindsight he was probably a secret fan of the Eagles and was trying to protect some of their players from the relentless undead who had smelled blood and were set out on destruction for the night. The numbers were massively against the Eagles and were quickly overwhelmed by the shambling hoard.

Sretalles finally got to come on following Ted's sending off and secured the second touchdown of the evening, strengthening whatever claim they have to need to start the next game. The head coach couldn't help but grimace at the sight of his team going 2-0 up but given it was star Ghoul, Ric, who had handed the ball over to Sretalles, it suggests something is brewing between players and management. The Bone Crunchers shamble on but it's tough at the top and things just keep getting tougher.”
