“The result does not reflect the 'felt truth' of the game.
The first drive was dominated by bad block dice for the pact, leading to early turnovers. As a consequence my players were saved and I was able to break his drive and score in T4. Unfortunately the early score also meant the end for my Fanatic and Bomma. Followed by the Looney who knocked himself out with his first action in T5.
Despite significant losses I was able to prevent a Pact score before the halftime with a desperate, re-rolled one dice block with the Pogoer on the Darkelf in my T6. After that nobody was able to pick up the ball again.
I was afraid of the second half, because I had only eleven players on the pitch plus one in the KO box. To my advantage the KOed ROgre did not come back and I faced only nine Pact players.
The Goblins received the kick off but after Pact's T10 the ball was lost and only two Trolls, three linemen and the Pogoer remained of the former Goblin team. It looked bad, but the Trolls saved the game. Firstly by blitzing the PAct ball carrier and secondly by throwing one of the last two remaing, ball carrying Goblins across the pitch in T13. With no safety around the Goblin was able to score for a certain win with only three turns left for the Pact.
Nuffle helped again with a Blitz on the kickoff. One of the four Goblins rushed to the anticipated landing spot, while the other two tried to mark open players as good as possible. The double skull on the first block of Pacts T14 increased the potential survival of the rushing Goblin with only one marked AG3+ safety in reach and no Pact re-rolls available. Unfortunately the brave Goblin was badly hurt by the safety (both down) and his fellow needed to pick up the ball and risk the two GFI for another TD.”
